Jayati Is an Art Director based out of India. She started her career as a stylist with the Magazine Elle Decor India.

Her passion lies in creating imagery that makes the onlooker pause in this ever running world.

“The items may be strange together but the balance and colouring brings about a harmony.”

Her expression through bright colors and quizzical combinations make for an exciting image that makes you wonder what Jayati is thinking when concocting these works. 

She loves working with everyday objects, flowers, foliage and things she forages from local markets.

Fuelled by the artefacts her grandparents brought back from their travels around the world. She developed a keen eye for beautiful things. Then she continued to hone her vision through her education and work and still continues to ransack her grandmother’s trunks for ornate vintage objects. Her art serves as a window into her childhood spent collecting Turkish vases and filling them up with champa blooms from her grandma’s backyard in the valley of Dehradun

She has an M Des in Design for Retail Experience and a B Des in Fashion & Visual communication.
